Insights

Insights shows how your posts did, always against the same number of days just before, written out in words ("25 Sep – 8 Oct, against the 14 days before"). Choose 7, 14, 30 or 90 days.

Overview

  • People reached: how many people saw your posts.
  • Engagement: likes and comments for every hundred people reached.
  • Followers: the change across your channels.
  • Posts: how many went out, and how many didn't post.

Each has its change against the period before and a small trend.

People reached per day draws this period solid and the one before dashed; point at a day to see its posts. A table of the same numbers is there for screen readers.

Best times shows when your audience reacts most, by day and three-hour window, from the last 90 days, with the best window in words ("Wednesday, 9–11 in the morning"). Create suggests these times when you pick when to post. They show once your posts have results.

Top posts open their post at Results. Channels shows each channel's followers, trend and change; choose a channel to open its own growth over the last 30 days: followers per day (hover or touch a day for its count), what its posts reached and engaged against the 30 days before, and those posts.

Posts

Every post in the period, with all its channels added up. Sort by when it posted, people reached, engagement, likes, comments or watch time, and filter by channel and campaign. Watch time is shown for video posts.

Channels

Each channel's followers over time, and its best times.

Taking it with you

  • CSV: every post in the period, for a spreadsheet.
  • PDF report: for the period, with your workspace's logo, the totals, reach by day, each network, the top ten posts and every post. A campaign has its own report on its page.
  • Client calendar: in Plan → Share, Include results shows the last 14 days of results on the calendar page you share with clients.

Where the numbers come from

Each network reports its own numbers. Release Social asks for a post's results an hour, a day and a week after it goes out, then keeps the last; a post's page has Refresh results to ask again in between. A dash means the network didn't give that number. Follower counts start the day after a channel is connected. If nothing has results yet, Insights says Results are on their way.
