Plan a week of posts in one sitting
Queue times from your best hours, then the week’s approved posts placed in one go.
Updated
A week goes faster when the times are decided once. In Release Social a queue is a set of times each week, and approved posts take them in turn. Everything here is in Plan, on every plan.
1. Set your queue times
Open Queue times from the Plan’s menu and add a time to each day you post, for example Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10:00. Times are in your workspace’s time zone, which an owner or admin sets in Settings → General.
2. Let your audience choose the hours
Once posts from the last 90 days have results, Insights shows your Best times: when your audience reacts most, with the best window in words, such as “Wednesday, 9–11 in the morning”. With results from at least 10 posts, Use best times in Queue times fills the queue from them, and Create suggests them when you pick when to post.

3. Fill the week in one go
Write the week’s posts and send them for approval. Approved posts wait beside the calendar under Unscheduled, each with Add to queue. Fill the queue shows where all of them would go in this week’s free queue times, then places them, with Undo.

4. Move what needs moving
Drag a scheduled post to another day and it keeps its time. Drag an approved post onto a day and it takes that day’s next open queue time. Every move has Undo. Queue times still free show on the calendar as dashed “open” slots: choose one to start a new post at that time.
When the week changes
News to wait for, or a week off? The Queue switch at the top of Queue times pauses the queue: queued posts wait and nothing is deleted. Switch it back on and they go out at their next times.
